Well here we are at the beginning!

Hi there,

well what an introduction into the wacky world of cyber space and blogs!! Have read many many blogs over the last few months and often wondered why people would want to share their innermost thoughts and feelings with people they are never likely to meet or know.

I guess it could be that the inonimity of it all lets them relax into realisation that what they say will never be associated with them in the 'real' sense. I suppose what I mean is that it is like reading a diary of someone you don't know but taking interest in them as a person and knowing that they often have the same insecurities and hassles with everyday living that they do.

This is as good a place as any to ramble and waffle on and I find it quite interesting that it really is quite liberating! Over the next few weeks we shall see if this is a good tool for communication and learning. I look forward to the journey.
